HUTCHESON THE ONLY CANDIDATE ENDORSED BY BOTH FIREFIGHTERS AND POLICE OFFICERS

The Palm Springs Fire Safety Unit, representing Palm Springs firefighters and fire engineers, has endorsed Rick Hutcheson for City Council.
“We support Rick Hutcheson because he understands that the number one obligation of local government is to protect public safety, in particular the fire, rescue and disaster preparedness services provided to our community by the Palm Springs Fire Department,” said Jason Loya, president of the Fire Safety Unit.
“It’s clear that Rick has the broad experience and personal skills to serve effectively on City Council,” Loya added. “He is well informed on emergency response preparedness issues and understands the importance of supporting the high standards of our Department as Palm Springs continues to grow. Rick’s record shows that after listening to a wide variety of viewpoints, he knows how to get things done.”
Hutcheson has stated that public safety must become a higher priority for City Council. “Both City Hall and citizens need to strengthen support for, and relationships with, our emergency responders in Palm Springs,” said Hutcheson.
