Rick Hutcheson for Palm Springs City Council

CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE RICK HUTCHESON
TAPPED BY CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS

Hutcheson the Only Palm Springs Candidate Selected for Forum

Palm Springs, CA, September 16, 2007 – City Council Candidate Rick Hutcheson will attend a conference on real estate issues, campaigns and government sponsored by the California Association of Realtors on September 17, at the State Capitol in Sacramento.

C.A.R. has invited selected candidates running for local office throughout the state to participate in a program designed to inform candidates on current issues affecting residential and commercial real estate markets in California, so that future leaders may campaign effectively.

“Along with tourism, real estate is vital to the Palm Springs economy,” said Hutcheson. “I’m working to protect property values for Palm Springs homeowners and business owners, and the livelihoods of the many persons in our community who work, as I do, in our real estate industry.”

“When the Palm Springs real estate market is strong, we all benefit.  I’m honored that the California Association of Realtors has selected me to participate in this program.”

Rick Hutcheson is a Palm Springs planning commissioner and co-owns Palm Springs businesses devoted both to real estate and to tourism, including a real estate brokerage, Greater Palm Springs Realty, and Vacation Palm Springs Real Estate. He is supported for City Council by the California Desert Association of Realtors and the Palm Springs Police Officers Association, among other groups and community leaders.
