“Villagefest is a wonderful way for tourists and residents to enjoy our downtown and small town feel, to meet each other and see some of the best things Palm Springs has to offer,” said Hutcheson. “I look forward to greeting citizens every Thursday at the Rick Hutcheson for City Council booth, to learning what our residents consider to be important issues, and to answering questions.”

“If you haven’t yet registered to vote, please stop by and fill out a registration form. We’re also passing out free balloons for kids,” Hutcheson added. “So come downtown, eat dinner at one of our great restaurants, visit some of our unique shops, and please stop by and say hello.”

Started more than 16 years ago, Palm Springs Villagefest attracts thousands of visitors to downtown each week. It offers more than 200 booths featuring all sorts of merchandise, food, crafts, political and local organizations, along with music, entertainment and shops open late.
